eterna

Make the route clear.

A promise beyond the company

Keep a recovery plan that can be checked and read without Eterna. Your private records, keys and external recovery arrangements stay under your control.

Map the estate

Create a category reference for each recovery path. Keep the actual institution, account, policy, credentials and instructions in your independently controlled arrangement. Match that external record to the reference Eterna generates.

Assign a role

Assign a recipient, executor, co-owner, advisor or trusted contact to selected paths. Keep their identity in your external records. Grant read-only planning access separately, with an expiry you choose. This does not grant authority over an estate or external account.

Practise the process

Choose a path and a recipient. They follow its playbook, check a harmless test file if included, and sign their results. Record their report to see what needs fixing. Actual access and authority still require separate checks.

Keep an independent copy

Sign a recovery package for your recipient and save the reader kit with it. They can check the signature, read the playbooks and compare external records without an Eterna account. Keep your account reference and a plan checkpoint separately.

Use existing providers as independent rails

Banks, insurers, password managers, specialist operators and other established providers retain their native roles. Eterna coordinates the route and evidence without taking custody. Independence means separate control, usable external access, authority and funding—not simply multiple integrations. Future conditions require independently operating mechanisms as well as a readable export.
